What we do

Our protocols
Language delivered with cultural integrity.
Our language is delivered under community protocols so it is carried by the right people, in the right way. A Gathang language educator must:
- Be of the peoples whose language this is — Birrbay, Warrimay and/or Guringay — and be accepted as such by the local community.
- Be endorsed in writing for language delivery by a local language governance group.
- Hold a minimum of Certificate III in Gathang, or proven capacity at that level.
